Caliber trucks Plugs

Immagine
While chopping down two tall barrel bushings, we thought that the cut off rests could be reused to make a pair of plugs. The new generation of Calibers have a round KP hole, which makes the hangar free to lean. there is enough space to fit the plug, we just sanded a bit the paint on the bore. a new generation hangar on top and an old one below. After roughly cutting the bushing with a knife (definitely not the best way to do that!) we put the slice in the bushing seat. We marked the edges with a marker and trimmed with the knife again to the kp hole diameter. The slice is about 2/3 mm thick, we sanded and smoothed all the corners on the grip of a skateboard.   May pe patient sanding little by little and checking oftet if the plug fits the hangar hole. we used a very hard bushing, which was easier to cut and sand, and may last longer. the plug in place, ready to ride The plug avoids side-to-side play in the hangar. Combined with a good tight pivot cup, it

The Bruko Wooland review

Immagine
Almost two years ago we rode the Bruko 50 Free during our trip between Slovakia and Czech Republic . The board holded up extremely well and we could skate anything that we ran into: sidewalks, parks and hills. Back to Italy we spoke a lot with Bruko about the shape of the deck and finally they came up with a new symmetric, more functionnal model, the Wooland. we mesured it: L 96cm W 23cm WB (inner holes) 46 cm old school truck mounting We rode it on Independent 169, bones hardcore medium bushing, and Retro Freeride 86a / Orangatang Fat free 86a. an Earthwing Crewzer 38 and the Wooland 40 side to side The finishing and the handcrafted details are beautiful, the kicks rise gently and are less steep that the classic street decks. This allows a good pop with larger wheels. The wheel wells are deep and fit pretty good with the Indys, the concave is deep enough to lock the feet while sliding (also thanks to the sharp rails) but it's

Heat & Folklore

Last summer we spent few weeks riding our homespot and looking for new ones in the south of Rome, Italy. Jacques Chardenal came to visit us and had a great time with the rest of the team Underthebelly. Here's how we spent our holidays! Brigante Project on Vimeo . You can see some pictures of our trip on the Board Action website. And if you like it raw, you can watch Davide on his home spot and Matteo taking corners at 70 km/h from the same holidays.

SDV Pedali | The Sundrive

Immagine
The Sundrive is an handcrafted guitar effect, inspired by the legendary Zendrive. Stefano asked us to find a look for his lineup so we started out with a new graphic and a previw video for the Sundrive. We hope we'll work again with SDV and all the video crew! For those geeks who want to know more about it here's some technical info: 112mm x 60mm x 50mm, 250g True Bypass Switching, 9VDC/90mA, 9VDC x1 battery, 500k ohm (min) impedance IN, 5k ohm impedance OUT Check it out on the official page  sdvpedali.altervista.org/pedal ... or sdvpedali.altervista.org/ if you want to have a look to the others SDV productions. My all around setup - Earthwing Crewzer 38

Immagine
Depending on your style, this board can handle anything! Quite agile in the pool, yet stable bombing a hill (the 19"wb makes it sketchy but fun!). The nose and the tail are less steep than a common street deck to have a nice pop even with bigger wheels. Sliding and freeriding is extrimely fun and easy: I could work on my stand ups and find my stance as soon as I stepped on the board. May add some rising pad to skate loose but the wheel wells still do their job, matching perfectly with the indys. I'm currently running a set of Independent 169 trucks, Abec11 retro freeride 86a / 3dm cambria 62mm 78a.
