Slide gloves

Immagine
I made a pair of slide gloves for longboarding. What i used is work gloves, velcro, neoprene glue and nylon pucks - 95x75x30 mm -. Actually I'm not sure if I bought nylon (AB) or policarbonate (PC) ... I don't even know the difference! I read on the net that any "plastic" gives you different performances. I tested plexiglass and it's very slidy and hard, it doesn't warm even on thick pucks. The new pucks are softer. I smoothed the bottomside edges and scratched the upside face to glue it better to the velcro. The glue seemed to work good on the glove, quite well on the pluck. Since it's gummy it should hold for long time. Velcro works great; maybe the pucks are too fat, but i don't have problems to grab the board during the slides
