While chopping down two tall barrel bushings, we thought that the cut off rests could be reused to make a pair of plugs. The new generation of Calibers have a round KP hole, which makes the hangar free to lean. there is enough space to fit the plug, we just sanded a bit the paint on the bore. a new generation hangar on top and an old one below. After roughly cutting the bushing with a knife (definitely not the best way to do that!) we put the slice in the bushing seat. We marked the edges with a marker and trimmed with the knife again to the kp hole diameter. The slice is about 2/3 mm thick, we sanded and smoothed all the corners on the grip of a skateboard.   May pe patient sanding little by little and checking oftet if the plug fits the hangar hole. we used a very hard bushing, which was easier to cut and sand, and may last longer. the plug in place, ready to ride The plug avoids side-to-side play in the hangar. Last summer we spent few weeks riding our homespot and looking for new ones in the south of Rome, Italy. This summer many riders from Paris had some fun dh sessions in Dampleux, not so far from the french capital. The spot is fast and narrow, running through a wood, and a rider was closing the road at the end of the spot just the time of each run. We had then a full track, could take the best lines and learn how to skate in packet groups. Here how my Comet Ethos 40 looks like after I chopped off the nose and part of the kick tail. The nose had some bad cracks and the tail was wrapping and I realized it was not necessary on a deck I use for dh. I also drilled some new holes on the back truck to have a longer wheelbase. I actually ride a symmetrical setup with randal 180mm 42° and divine barrel bushings 90a. increasing the wb by about 2cm handmade wheelwells lighter and easier to carry! During the winter holidays we had some warm, sunny day in Italy, so my brother and I took the chance and rode some hill. Here's a raw run, with a small bonus on how I lost a wheel!

Rain and cold weather... Wintertime sucks for longboarding so looking back to this summer I really miss my home. Here's a run I had somewhere in the centre of italy, late August. Thanks to my brother for waking me up early and taking me up the hill.

I've been working on this video during my spare time all summer long and finally I can say it worthed waiting. At the beginning I was filming anytime I could and collecting random footage I really didn't know what to do with. But then I though that the perfect "glue" that could hold all together were the friendship and the good moments spent in a city: Paris. Longoarding made me meet nice people who are passioned for film and we shooted just for fun... now I want to thank them all! But while I was trying to edit the clip, something really interesting happened. I showed my project to my brother, who told me that a good sound was needed, and he maybe had an idea. That's how I met The Marphoi Project , who was able to match up the perfect sound in some days. The hardest part was to communicate via email and wait for new details, but finally everything was cool. I hope to collaborate again with him, and all the people that helped me in this project.
